Planting & Care
SunLight: Portulacas need six to eight hours of full sun to reach their potential.
Soil: adaptable to most soils, Portulacas demand a well-drained soil.
Water: Water the plant only when the top of the soil is dry,
Fertilizer: There s no need for fertilizer with the portulaca, as it will do fine on its own.
Temperature: The plants can also be started indoor at 70 to 85F (21 to 29C).
Pruning: Remove wilted flowers regularly (deadheading) in order to boost flower-bearing.
