Planting & Care 

SunLight: Tagetes erecta need lots of sunshine (at least six hours of direct sunlight) and do well with year-round warm to hot weather

Soil: Though they grow in almost any soil, marigolds thrive in moderately fertile, well-drained soil.

Water: Water tagetes Erecta the first 10 to 12 days after transplanting bedding plants into the garden.

Fertilizer: Fertilize the marigolds monthly with a soluble all-purpose fertilizer, such as a 24-8-16 blend. Dissolve the fertilizer in the water

Temperature:  maintain a temperature within the growing medium of 70°-75° until germination
